Beach in January

We have had amazing weather the last week and spent the afternoon at the beach yesterday. Isaiah loved it. He crawled around in the sand and loved watching the birds. We decided it was still a little to cold to put his feet in the water, so he'll have to wait to touch the ocean until the spring/summer.

Crawling Adventures

Isaiah is crawling all around the house and loving it. It has posed new problems for us...so many things that he can get into. It seems that he would much rather play with stuff he shouldn't (Stella's toys, Stella's bed, Stella's water dish, cords, fireplace, etc.) than with his own toys. It's so fun to watch him though. We had Isaiah's 6 month appointment yesterday and he is looking great. He is 17 lbs. 13 oz. (48th %) and 27.5 inches (78th %). His eczema is still a bit of a concern (the doctor is just worried about infections) so we may be seeing a pediatric dermatologist. Here are a few pictures of Isaiah crawling.

First Food

Isaiah tried food for the first time on Sunday night. He had avocado. He wasn't sure how much he liked it, but is starting to enjoy it a bit more now.

Isaiah's 6 months!

Isaiah is 6 months old today. He is crawling all around the house, mostly trying to catch Stella (our dog) and exploring everything he can find. His eczema is better, but he still has break outs quite often. His 6 month appointment is in 2 weeks and we're thinking about doing some allergy tests (Matthew is a little skeptical though). So some of Isaiah's favorite things are...'wrestling' with Daddy, playing with his trucks, being outside (hiking or chasing Stella), and moving around (we say he is constant motion). Instead of pictures, I put together a little video. It's best with sound.
