The sunshine is back!

March has been a very wet and cold month for us. In the past month we witnessed: 4 hail storms; 15.58 inches of rain (normal for March is 6-7 inches); falling trees; power outages (our longest was 36 hours); broken water pipes (at Mission Springs, we were without water for a couple days); flooding and mudslides throughout Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz; and road collapses (part of the road we live on was undercut and collapsed, leaving only 1 lane of traffic open). It's been a fun month. The last storm was ended Sunday and we have had beautiful weather since. Today it was in the mid 80's and Isaiah and I headed to the beach with Yai-Yai and Cousin Sophia. What a way to end this crazy month. Here are a few pictures from today.

Papu's Retirement Party!

Papu retired on Wednesday! We all went out to dinner at a local Italian place that is very kid friendly. They had a play station and music and disco lights (that Isaiah loved). It was a fun night.

8 Months!

He's growing up so fast. Isaiah is busy, busy, busy all day long. He is exploring every part of the house and loves to try to find the vacuum cleaner. He is standing next to everything and starting to go between furniture. One of his new favorite things to do is stand up next to his toy box (Rubbermaid container) and pull out all the toys he can reach. Here are a few pictures of the little guy.

He always carries something around with him while he explores the house. His favorite things to have with him are his sox, shoes, magnetic letters (that are on the fridge) and Stella's rope.

Isaiah's favorite place to be is outside, so when he can't be outside he loves
looking out the window.

Reading a book with Daddy on our new couch.

Big smiles with Yai-Yai. He loved trying to get the gum out of her mouth.

So proud of himself.

Energy

Isaiah is full of energy these days and has decided that he needs to pull up next to everything...our legs, the refrigerator, couch, highchair, the bath tub...keeping us on our toes for sure.
Isaiah loves to get his hands on the newspapers and spread them around the house.

Bath time has become quite difficult as Isaiah refuses to sit down. He wants to be standing all the time. :)
