Happy Hollow

We went to Happy Hollow (kids park with animals and rides) yesterday with Dannielle and her kids and met Lucia (friend from high school) and her 5 month old daughter. Isaiah had a blast. He loved seeing the animals and even some of the rides.

Isaiah rode his first ride alone. The cars went around in a circle; Isaiah loved to 'steer' the car.

He absolutely loved this ride. He went on it three times in a row and cried when we had to leave.

12 month appointment

Isaiah had his 12 month appointment today. Everything looks good; his eczema just keeps improving, but we are going to keep off the foods he has allergies to (wheat, eggs, and peanuts). We will decide what steps to take next (see an allergist, more testing, etc.) after his 15 month appointment. He weighed in at 22 lbs. 6 oz. (40%) and was 31 inches tall (80%). He is getting so close to walking, but still is a little unsure about it. We had his birthday party last Saturday and will post pictures as soon as we get them. (Our camera died so my friend took some).

He's one!

Isaiah had his first birthday on Wednesday while we were at Pinecrest Lake. We had a great day playing in the lake and he got his first taste of ice cream and chocolate for dessert (no cake-a little to hard to make a wheat and egg free cake on vacation-he'll get cake at his party). Isaiah seems to be learning new things every day. He love to blow kisses and waving. Still no walking, but it seems like it will happen soon. He is such a joy and we are really loving to see his personality develop.

Pinecrest

We left Truckee on the 4th of July and headed to Pinecrest Lake for 3 nights with

some friends. We had a great time catching up with some friends from Washington and Canada and hanging out at the lake. We got back home late on the 7th and have been settling in. Here are a few pictures from the trip.
