YaiYai's Birthday

We went out to dinner on Sunday night for YaiYai's (Grandmother in Greek) birthday. Isaiah got all dressed up in his park ranger outfit (another one from Aunt Janet) so he took a picture with the birthday girl. Happy Birthday YaiYai!

Last day of work...

Today was my last day of work at Mission Springs. Definitely a bittersweet day as I leave a job I love to stay home with Isaiah. I have been working at Mission Springs Outdoor Education the past 8 years and feel really blessed to have got to be part of such a great program. I will really miss the staff and the kids that come to "camp" each week, but right now I can't think of a better job than getting to be home with Isaiah. So here we go...I am sure it will take a bit of time getting used to, but I am looking forward to the change. Here are some pictures from my goodbye party today.

2 Month Appointment

Isaiah had his 2 month doctor visit today (he was 10 weeks old yesterday). He weighed 12lbs 6oz (50th percentile) and was 24.5 inches long (90th percentile). He grew 2.5 inches from his last appointment! Everything went really well and the doctor said he looks great. He loves to look at books and is starting to play (or just hold :)) some toys. The introduction of toys has been a little hard as Stella (our dog) seems to think (or hope) they are for her.

Cousin Olivia

Isaiah and cousin Olivia had somefun together the other day. Olivia loved trying to hold Isaiah's hand and trying to roll over onto Isaiah. Olivia is 2 months older than Isaiah and so cute (as you can tell in the pictures). Sorry about the top photo; I couldn't figure out how to rotate it.

2 Months!

Isaiah is 2 months old today. He loves to smile and make lots of noise. His favorite place to be (besides being held) is in his bouncy chair looking at the fish on the play bar. He smiles at them and talks to them; it is really cute. He would still rather take his naps on people than in his bed, but has started taking some shorter naps in bed. He has been home with Matthew for the last 3 weeks, as I have been back at work, but only 2 weeks left before I will end my job. We have his 2 month check-up next week (we're excited to get his stats and see how much he has grown). Here are some pictures from the last month.
